Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

They haven't witnessed oppression yet, just wait until the deck of cards comes crashing down.

Ok, so you look like a man, smell like a man, work like man, and don't have nail polish like a man. On top of all that, you're proud of it. My statement still stands, get a sex change op, call yourself a man and just be done with it.

Ok, but please oh please let it not be from you. Gosh, special treatment from a feminist lesbo who doesn't use nail polish and probably smells like my nuts after a workout is worse than hell.

so i read a lot that Armenian women are only good for producing children and staying home. probably one actual advocate that they can be smart (anti-air logistics).

i also read from other threads that they're primary job before kids (and throughout kids) is to be a good cook.

The military soldiers would argue they'd prefer eating better. They get to stay on base, "safe and protected" by you men, and there are quarters on base so theoretically could even raise children there.

I guess you are trying to teach our women. But you have no college education, what can you do in that .... Oh yes, you are taught to ... by your incomplete happy life high school. You’ll soon become an academician in your area! Don’t divert the topic discussion to your beloved subject.

I didn't even say to teach your women. I didn't even give advice to them. I already graduated high school. I'm in college. I will accomplish more academically than you ever will.

So practice what you preach. Stop diverting this topic to stuff that you want to talk about. Can you get back on topic for once?

Maybe she's hot but just smells of pickles...

Seriously though, you'll never hear me saying I'm proud to work and slave while others profit from my labour. I think the baby boomer generation had it right, most women entered the workforce after their children were raised. This is all some master plan to reduce the world population.

but i'm making more than an unemployed man.

in essence, yes. we are ALL screwed. that is one thing that doesn't discriminate
The problem with valuing a person by their salary is that there used to be a thing called "Home Economics" which no longer seems to be factored into wealth.

Let's say a woman makes 50,000 a year which after taxes is about 40,000. Now, let's assume she has 2 infants. In order for her to go to work, she has to factor in the cost of day care, transportation, food, car insurance, etc. So 40,000 a year comes to about 770 dollars a week. The cost of day care for 1 infant runs anywhere between 60-90 dollars per day in major cities. Let's say it's $60 so two infants is $120 a day which comes to 600 dollars a week. So that leaves $170 a week for food, transportation, etc. This means that what she really earns by working is $25 a day. Cool eh? lol

Actually, if you control for hours worked, the pay disparity is rather small. I can't recall if the numbers I heard were just for female MBAs or if it extended, but they found that they got paid basically the same, but that the women who eventually started families, cut back their work hours a bit because they could afford to work less. Shocker, I know but female MBAs tended to marry men with graduate degrees too. So, I think some of the numbers we hear about wage disparity is difficult to interpret because not everything other than wage is controlled for.

Gegev, everytime you make a post about my bisexuality or homosexualism I'm just going to ignore you. I feel my IQ dropping every time I speak with you.

Sorry to disappoint you guys, but I like to shower As for sex change, no thank you. I might be wrong, but I don't think I'd look good with a beard

And KanadaHye, I didn't mean that I'm proud of slaving off. I'd rather have a more comfortable and satisfying job than that. I'm proud of being able to work hard when I'm required to as I'll be proud when I'll be able to speak a decent German

Thank you so much I’ll be glad having no contact with you. Don’t touch me even virtually with your incomplete/complete high school homosexual IQ (intelligence quotient), please.
                    Thanks again.
