Armenian women marry for 'love' primarily, and usually ignore Armenian men.

I think Armenian women almost automatically disqualify Armenian men because they want to marry for 'love', like they couldn't find that with an Armenian man?
You're partially right, there are some Armenian women who are hardcore (seems to be more of the Tashnak/Dashnak type). Typically Armenian women who grew up in the West feel that they should naturally meet their future "soul mate" instead of planning their future and searching for someone who is more suitable. That and an Armenian man is usually working his ass off to reach a state where he can support a family all the while the typical westerner has been settled for generations and already has an advantage. Armenian girls in the West are also rather spoiled, they use the culture they were raised with and sell it out to the first highest bidder.

We tend to look at the product and express our dissatisfaction.
Usually “its not the fault” of the product but the factory its made in.

The “soul” develops, is influenced brainwashed if you will depending on the environment these kids grow in.

Family and parents attitude, language religion.
Home cultural environment language spoken, music, songs, also the media radio TV etc.,
      Neighbourhood and friends.
      School and school environment .
      etc, etc

Looking at the overall situation we have no choice but talk in terms of percentage survival rate ( as Armenians).
Sadly its not a pretty picture.

I shudder at the though of the coming generation and next cycle of carnage.

I'm increasingly confused by these generalizations about women in the diaspora or "West"... They don't resemble me or my circle of friends growing up.
I think the types that you all are describing are so disappointing, appalling, etc. that they are more memorable and thus overrepresented in our memories. The quiet, well-mannered, intelligent types either weren't noticed at all or quickly forgotten because they didn't "shock the conscience."

        edited to add:

I want to clarify that I am not saying this sort, like Kristina, don't exist nor that their numbers aren't increasing because, much to my horror, they do and they are, BUT I am saying they are not as large a proportion as it may seem to you.

Not wanting to disagree with you but the reality of life is that the
advertised ( idea, image ) will gather a bigger following.

Dare I say even undeserved admiration specially from the young and the impressionable .

Well said Siggie ,i know now much of the armenian community here in greece and i tend to remember the most bad examples ,cause you know people tend to talk about them most... but for the large proportion of my sisters here i have and others to say only good things....

Yes, I realize that. I guess the optimist in me would like to believe we're not doomed to watch that proportion grow until it's nearly the whole.

Thanks! I'm relieved to hear it's not all bad in Greece.

No, the quiet, well-mannered, intelligent types either don't have the ability or the looks to be like Kardashian or Kasiyan but they certainly don't disapprove of them. They don't speak out about how they are degrading Armenian culture and Armenian women in general. The reason for this is because they wish they could be like Kardashian or Kasiyan. Feminism resonates deep within the conscience of western raised women. They don't even realize it.

As one of that type, I can tell you frankly, I have absolutely zero desire to be like Kardashian. You can't say they don't realize it. You've made your belief completely falsifiable then. Any girl, no matter what she puts forth and what she says, you will still insist just doesn't realize that is what she wants. How's that logical?
