Hey it's my first time here.
Anyways, I am half armenian and half russian. I came to Los Angeles when I was 5 and have been here since I'm 16 now. The problem is that I live in Little Armenia in Hollywood and the armenians on my street seem to think that I'm stupid or moreover uneducated because I was raised in the U.S. instead of Armenia. For example I was walking by an armenian women talking to her friends and I heard her say look at her that U.S. grown armenian she probably doesn't know armenian. I couldn't take it and i told her that she should really make sure that when she was talking about a person she should make sure the person doesn't know what they're saying.
I don't know if it's then or maybe I really am different. I'm just confused any thoughts or advice?

Secondly, you are who you are, dont let anyone ever suggest otherwise. You have armenian blood within your vains, THAT identifies you as an armenian, not words from other people. You cannot change who you are, but should learn to embrace yourself and armenian and russian. Both are things to be proud of.
