Is Eastern Armenian grammar hard?

No, I mean for a beginner the eastern dialect is much easier and less confusing, in terms of pronunciation. Like there is a clear distinction between “p”, “b” or “t”, “d”…

If you tell your ancestors job,it would help because in Anatolia,Armenians probably last names about their jobs.Suzme mean to filter.So anyway that's so cute you are from Anatolia!You should see places that where your ancestors had lived.Anyway sorry for grandfather,i hope you find what you want about your family past

Well, my dad's side is Aintebtsi, and yes, they ended up in Lebanon, and moved here. My mom's grandmother was a baby when her family went from Eastern Turkey (ran away from genocide) to Aleppo (Syria). Then, my grandmother moved to Kuwait and got married, where my mom was born. Then, they came to the US. So, I'm part Aintebtsi! But, there isn't much difference between Lebanese Armenian and Kuwait Armenian (is there?).

I've just switched from learning Eastern to learning Western, and it seems to me that the western dialect has simpler pronunciation, because it only has one type of "p" instead of two, only one type of "t" instead of two and only one type of "k" instead of two!

Tamara48, thanks for letting me know what "suzme" means, i have always wondered! Not sure what "son of the filterer" would mean, though.
