Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Again it comes to the same conclusion.

So what is the big deal for asking Turkey (in which it has nothing to do with Ottoman Empire) to recognize Armenian genocide?

It is almost asking to England to recognize Armenian genocide... NO???

Because, The modern Turkey, has no connection at all with the Ottoman Empire and it is not the continuation of it.
This is the bigest fact that some Armenians are trying to neglect.

So what is the reason that the Armenian genocide claimers call "Ottoman Empire" as "Ottoman Turkey"?? What is the reason to make a false connection between Turkey and Ottoman Empire.

Turkey is not responsible about what Ottoman Empire did since the begining. Turkey has no agenda of killing or mass murdering or anything like that.
So what is the reason of this claims.
It almost feel like Armenian genocide claimers slowly slowly will drop the "Ottoman Empire" name and in short they will call "Turkey".

    Thanks

Again why did humanity asked Germany to apologize for the crimes committed against Jews?..Clearly everyday germans and todays germans had nothing to do with the Nazi "Germany" but this is a double edged -sword because you cannot walk around and brag about how you (turks) ruled half of the world and talk about great victories in your textbooks and then suddenly come out and say uppss actually now really we had nothing to do with that... those were the ottomans

That is a different story. Because the modern Germany has been build by the same people. There are even some Nazi people who are living in Germany now.
Germany back than has the same ideology and more or less the same government. It is not like Turkey in which we build completely new country, we fought for it bravely. There is no similarities or continuation of Ottoman in Turkey politically. Politically, ideology, relegiosly, and in many other aspects Turkey is completly seperate than Ottoman Empire.
This is a fact, and has been recognized by all countries of the world.

Okay, having the Ottoman empire in our text books and feeling proud with their history is another thing. That is an emotional thing but not political. We also do feel connected with the Turk still living in Asia. And actually our ancestors came from Asia.

One thing that i really dont understand is; how come rest of the mass murdering are not talked by any one else. Forexample, the things happened in US to the native Americans, or the things just happened in Ruanda.
I gues there is no profit really connected to those things i asume.

I've said it before. Lets give them a bit of a taste of their own medicine, A Christian Alliance of Russia, Armenia, Serbia, Greece and Bulgaria forming to combat these Muslim Barbarians. They and their xxxxing Jihads have murdered so many, so why dont we give a good old fashioned crusade to show them what its like to be on the recieving end?

That is non of your business. Who is the nationalist we or you? See who is talking....
All the people in Armenia are heros. They survive in oppose to your dreams. The whole country is blocked out by you and your favorite brothers Azerbadjan. But their social lifestyle is in the high level compared to your uneducated people.

Armenians won't live in Turkey but in Armenia. Do you understand? In Western Armenia that you possess as Eastern Turky.

The American-Armenians will build our country. Don't you worry about our fairs.

First things firts the then Ruling party "Ittihat and Terraki" called themselves "Young Turks" and their ideology was based on the doctrine of ultra-nationalism (turancilik) whose traces can be found in some of today's political parties(MHP, Alparslan Turkes(dead now))...that's why you say u feel connected to the Turks in Asia...(funny because the same turks Tlat pasha wanted to unite under pan-turkism ended up killing him ) when it comes to religion clearly Turkey is a secular country now thanks to Ataturk but yet your religion is the same (so u do have the same religion as Ottomans) and yes todays Turkey is different than the Ottoman times...so why didn't anyone comeout publicly and say what ur saying instead of flat out denying it?

now todays Germany has nothing to do with Nazi Germany as far as ideology goes
on the second part ur partially right but civilized nations have come out and apologized for the crimes they've committed
              USA=Indians
              Germany=Jews
              France=Marocco

not only that these people come and make movies about these things criticizing themselves...can you imagine Turkey coming out and apologizing and someone making a movie in Turkey about the crimes committed..
Orhan Pamuk tried to talk about it and almost got crucified by the media its books were burned

Listen friend, when they take your land like they did in Cyprus, they take the crosses out of the churches, they urinate on them, they burn down the church, put a mosque there, destroy all your gravestones of your family. Then you will think this way. All the time they hate and go on about 'infidels' and want to enforce 'shariah' on everyone because they think it 'gods word'. I am sick of having to put up with this, Muslims complain and complain and complain, they abuse the rights we give them, people like Abu Hamza who says that BRitain should be attacked by Al Qaeda because it is a good thing but we in Britain who pay taxes pay for him.

They will always hate christians, why not return the favour?

Also I think you should go to some ARabic muslim sites like al-jazeera and see their shameful reporting on things like Armenian Genocide. Just because Turkey is a muslim country they stand by them, right or wrong.

I am sick of muslims inicting their stupid 'holy war' on us.

                    What holly war???
what a f**k are you talking about.

There were no holly war in cyprus. Turkey is not carrying Muslim ideology.
If there were a holly war %100 of you wiped out already.

It was just group of Greek people provocing the cypriot people and they comitte crime to the Turkish people living in Cyprus. And Turkey act to protect the turkish people in there, but it get out of control. It was the bigest mistake.

What holly war you are talking about???
                    Are you Crazy??
