Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Thats sounds like a very unbiased 'conference'.
It's wise of you not to do that, because It is a shame, to call the Blue-Book a "war propaganda" , you'd be insulting the credibility of a high rank Officials of Great Britin, and rediculing yourself just like the Turkish Parlaiment.
Oh yes the Turkish parliment is ridiculous in fact the Turkish parliment is disrepected all across the world that its in international isolation. NO of course not that is just a another childish attack at Turkey.

Oh yes the British intelligence, dont make me laugh are you forgetting that the British during world war one made landings at Galipolli they tried to navigate through the straits with.................. old inaccurate maps and it was Winston Churchill the world war two hero who was in charge. British credibility? lol

Guess what? I've read a xxxx load of information about Armenian Terror pre- and during the first world war. That said, their terror doesn't justify the suffering the Armenians suffered at the hands of the Turks. If only Armenians can accept this then only a dialogue can begin...

Guess what? Turkey does deserve to exist just because (you) the Armenians suffered immensely may I add that doesn't justify your attempts to demonise all Turks.
Give the guy a break, he is obviously shocked of what he read, that's a very normal reaction to the first time introduction to Genocide Denial.

First of all , I didn't mean you, I meant the denial that was going on in this forum.
Second, how do you know that he was talking to you ? He didn't quote you, and he said "You Turks", how can he possibly know that you are a Turk when you are hiding your ID under (Neutral) exterior. He is NEW member, that was his FIRST post.

And again set things stright, now you are exposed, and Change your name

          • Exposed?! Thats my name because when I write essays I normally conclude with both sides of the arguement followed by a neutral, middle of the road ending.

I can't change my name? I dont think its possible? If I can how?

You shouldn't call them xxxxs especially if they are not Muslim through lack of knowledge (deen). I believe Allah will give them a chance to learn the truth on just before the day of Judgement if they reject and still accept Jesus as their Lord then they will burn in the abode that is hell.(I dunno just a thought....)

Sentence removed, post only in English or Armenian please

PS. You have no right to decide if I'm Turkish or not! I cant change my genes (even if Hellektor thinks my genes dont exist). I have also decided to not get involved in any childish tactics by Turks.

As to you second link http://www.proarmenia.am, I'm sure you know what I think of that. Oh BTW yes I've heard all about Kocharian's jibe at the Jews.

Maybe you should read the Blue-Book! Or the uncensored version currently in circulation http://www.gomidas.org/books/bryce.htm. (There is evidence to suggest that it is propaganda but I don't want to go into details, cos Armenians might react by biting my heard off)But still no British recognition...

Turkey has the money to buy congress. I'm not saying it will but the potential is there.

Thank you phantom for providing sources. I would like to urge all members on this forum to provide evidence(Hellektor when you make INSANE claims about the ethnicity of another people.) when trying to get your point of view across.
Neutral, Dr. Yair Auron's statement as to the reasons for Israel's lack of acknowledgment can be found in many publications and newspapers. I just happened to find it at that Armenian web site, but you can find it other places too. The point is that you wanted to know why Israel continues in this path, and I gave you the viewpoint of a Jewish Israeli Professor of History on that question.

As for the British, whether or not the Blue Book is propoganda is irrelevant to your question. You wanted to know why the Brits have not officially acknowledged, and I showed you that they were, in fact, one of the first to show that it was a Genocide, whether their decision was political or not. But this brings up another point: if you don't find the Brits reliable enough to publish an honest historical record, then why do you care whether they acknowledge the Genocide or not? Finally, the current govt of England refuses to acknolwedge for the same reasons as the U.S. at the present. Actually, the UK's reasons are skewed more towards the Baku/Ceyhan oil pipeline than the U.S. who's interests are more diverse. In any case, I think you should get the point by now that any lack of acknowledgment by those 3 govts. is purely political.
