[B]“The Armenian issue, which aims at meeting the economic interests of the capitalist world rather than bearing in mind the veritable interests of the Armenians themselves was best resolved with the Kars Agreement. The friendly ties between two industrious people coexisting peacefully for centuries have been satisfactorily established anew.”

Following imprisonment, the captured PKK members set up an elaborate resistance organization that would operate even behind bars. This organisation became famous for their hunger strikes. They also smuggled in guns and communication equipment into prison. Recruitment and training became commonplace for imprisoned PKK members.
In 1979, Öcalan moved to Bekaa valley, he had chance to develop his connection from where dev-genç left. His initial accommodations were covered through already established ASALA structure and Fatah camps, in part of ex-Syrian-controlled Lebanon. After the coup remaining PKK members, and Turkish left-wing millitants fled to the training camps in Bekaa valley which allowed Öcalan to consolidate resources and build up a power base. The PKK's second congress , from August 20-25, 1982 was held in Lebanon's Ayn alHulwah region. This marked the beginning of the second stage of PKK's efforts to establish control of southeastern Turkey.
PKK and ASALA held a press conference common on April 8, 1980 to Sidon - (a joint press conference in Lebanon)
Strasbourg, November 9, 1980, ASALA + PKK
Rome, November 19, 1980, ASALA + PKK
After July 1983, ASALA disappeared in the same Lebanese valley. Militant structure (skills & methods) of both ASALA and PKK were rumored to have been brainchildren of a Soviet Armenian KGB officer Karen Brutents. Since pro-Soviet Armenians had participated in the founding of an anti-Turkish Kurdish party already in 1927, the theories, arguments, propaganda methods and activity structures were time tested[1].
At 15 December 1984 left- oriented groups in Turkey signed a protocol to work together (PKK, TIP, TKEP, TKP, TKSP ve TSIP).

Wow - guess I never saw it this way - Thank you UKxxxx for such brilliant analysis... we are just xxxxs I guess! Poor Turks - to have been subjected to such a horrible Armenian infestation - I guess you had every reason to want to kill all of us and try your best to do it. BTW - I think you better let the rest of the world know all about your findings right away - they will really want to know how they have been duped all along into thinking of the poor innocent and most patient and alturistic Turks as the bad guys this whole time....
UKTurk, for making a mockery of the Armenian race and nation while at the same time bashing Christians and homosexuals, I will from now on refer to you as: Fascist
Fascist, did it occur to you that Robert Kocharian's approval rating in Armenia is so low that there have been protests against him? Do you think we don't know that Kocharian is a corrupt scumbag? Don't get penis envy because Kocharian is more buddy-buddy with Russia and the west than Turkey is. Do you realize that Robert Kocharian is not responsible for any foreign aid that enters Armenia?
Fascist, you are against Armenia supporting Turkey's ascencion into the E.U. Exactly what do you support? Or are you just trying to spite Armenia because you just want to argue over a non-issue?
Fascist, you protest the influx on funds into Armenia, even though those funds are used to eliminate poverty, build hospitals, build transportation, and other good causes. Only a sadist would say the money is not being put to good use.
UKTURK-Dont you worry me and a few "homies" are planning to write a book I sorta busy at the moment, but when I have time...Hopefully the Turkish government can finance it!
Why?
You busy trying decide what dress to buy?
For Elton John's wedding?
"All truth passes through three stages:
First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident."
UKTURK-I feel like insulting you back but my mood has changed in a matter of minutes I really do feel sorry for Armenians at the moment.
Gav
Ok I take it back .
I feel sorry for you too!
Your just a poor little nationalist
in nomans land of history
I think that may be why you may have taken the nick "Neutral" at first not
because you were but couldnt identify with one culture only .I understand
BTW/You feeling sorry for Armenians is just a hidden need for pity for yourself!
"All truth passes through three stages:
First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident."
My allegations have never debased your Turkish nationalism, but your right to express your nationalism stops where mine begins. If you call all Armenians terrorists, swindlers, criminals, losers, or corrupt scumbags, you can expect people to be enraged at your vapid generalizations. You can expect people to fight you back for pointless statements. I think it's disgusting you quote a few Armenians and expect them to represent all Armenians, including the diaspora. Do you think George W. Bush represents all Americans? Or that Tony Blair represents all British?
Well, guess what. There are many of us that do not fit your narrow idea of an Armenian. There are many Armenians that are not racist, that are not corrupt, and are not stubborn, and if you think Armenians refuse to assimilate, you have failed to look at 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation American Armenians, which are just as loyal to the United States, if not more, than Armenia itself.
I don't need to lecture you to control your temper when you're insulting an entire nation, culture, and all its people. You have the right to be proud of Turkey and the right to express your nationalism but you do not have the right to infringe on our Armenian pride with empty insults.
