Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Many Byzantine emperors were of Armenian origin.
The saint Sophia Church, especially its dome, was badly damaged after an earthquake in the 10th century, five hundred years before you set your paws in Constantinople and desecrated it under your filthy cloven hoofs.
Trdat, an Armenian architect, restored it and what you have, along with everything else in Constantinople, is the work of the Armenians; you ungrateful barbarian.

    Armenians built your goddamn “empire”.

Turks could not do without us, because the tent-dwelling, cattle-herder, nomadic savages couldn't keep two bricks standing one upon another.

There was even a saying in those dark days:

Ermeni ustanin elinden geçmeyen caminin minaresi ayakta kalmaz, yikilir.

‘Ermeni Sorunu’ by T. Ates in ‘Yol’ No. 22-24, p.38, Duisburg, 1982.

And no one is more despised than you. You aren't even a race.
Four things denialist Turks do when they are confronted with facts:

    I. They change the subject (e.g. they copy/paste tons of garbage to divert attention).
II. They project (e.g. they replace "Turk" with "Armenian" and vice versa and they regurgitate Armenian history).
III. They offend (e.g. they cuss, threaten and/or mock).
IV. They shut up and say nothing.

Serdar is of Persian origin but used as a name in Turkish.
Ofcourse I know it is persian origin. Ser means head or lead.
This does change the fact that Serdar is a Turkish name.

Your language is Ural-Altaic. Therefore Sardar cannot be Turkish.

Although it's no shame to borrow words from other languages, you shoud have the guts to accept facts. But since you are Turks, everything in the world is also Turkish.

I thought just because it's believed Zoroaster was born in real Azarbaijan (Aturpatekan), "Azeris", a "nation" that NEVER existed throughout history, claimed that Zoroaster was "Azeri"!

Which existing religion did Zoroaster "steal" from, you arrogant, ignorant, ignoble, ignominious, ignoramus?

              Read this

Noam Chomsky speaks at an Armenian community forum host by ANC.

Chomsky noted that 12 percent of the Israeli air and tank force are now in eastern Turkey, and that they are probably operating in northern Iraq and moving toward the Iranian border. He cited this as being part of the growing conflict with the “axis of evil,” and against the local alliance of Iran and Armenia.

He explained that Turkey relies heavily on the domestic Israeli lobby in Washington for its support. Chomsky said Turkey has received $30 billion from the World Bank and the IMF in the last year alone, and that this aid depends on the pressure of the US government and the Jewish lobby in favor of Turkey. He also added that this alliance is being extended to include Azerbaijan because of the 30 million Azeris living in northern Iran, which the US would likely want dismembered as a state.

Chomsky also discussed the conflicts taking place over the control of Caspian energy resources, with Turkish, Israeli, and US forces backing Azerbaijan. “Small Armenia is caught up in the middle of all of this,” he noted.

Chomsky noted that Russia was certainly able to assess the balance of forces in the region and so is behaving accordingly, at least for the moment. He described that balance as being Iran and Armenia on one side, and the US, Israel, Turkey, and Azerbaijan on the other side. He also explained that most of the conflict concerns pipeline routes from the Caspian avoiding Iran—a route that the energy companies prefer because it is more economical—and without Russia having any control, meaning that they would go through Georgia.

              Therefore Azerbaijan exists.

"All truth passes through three stages:
                First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident."

Ixtanbul - your ignorance and utter insensitivity is beyond any words I have to describe. FYI there were Armenian Byzantine Emporers and Armenians have lived in Constantinople before any Turk crossed East of the Vogal. I also have to demand your apology as you have directly insulted my family who have lived in Constatinople/Istanbul and like a great many Armenians worked and suffered to make that city what it became and who ultimatly paid the price for being Armenian - and for no other reason - and who came to be living amongst a sea of hostile racist nationalsit Turks such as yourself. It is because of Turks like you that our family and our people are denied their proper legacy and were denied their lives and livelyhoods. It is because of sick Turks like you that we have suffered and lost all. You have no place in this forum and I feel that I must request that you be banned fromt here. I will not at all be sorry to see the likes of you gone from here.
