Ixtanbul, could I ask you to cite credible non-Turkish sources? I have never heard 1 million Azeris lived in Artsakh and Armenia combined...

The OSCE says (about half way down the above page):

"there are over 400,000 Armenian refugees as a result of the conflict"

So, I'll ask you this: Do Azeris mind? they forced 400,000 Armenians to leave their home...

It is almost same. Ottoman alphabet was also close to Arabic(with slight changes). For example there is no "p" sound in arabic. There is only one H sound in Turkish etc. For example Arabs cant say "no Parking" they would say "no barking"

I believe that Arabic and Persian use the same alphabet.

Would you believe me if I told you UN says "a gigillion bajilliion Armenians were killed in the pogroms of Baku and Sumgait" just because I'm a nice guy? I didn't think so... How about a source for your number? Although it doesn't really matter since your attitude seems to be that 400,000 Armenian refugees don't matter because they aren't 1,000,000 or 800,000 or whatever the real number is of Azeri refugees...

Armenia has offered to withdraw from these lands with Azeri assurances that it will not attack NK - Azerbiajan has not been willing to be peaceful or to recognize the very legal and defacto independence of Karabagh - from USSR (it was never part of the nation of Azerbiajan BTW). Considering that Azerbaijan was the aggressor in this conflict and continied to press the aggression - against (Armenian) civilians - driving them from their homes (and being the first to do so) - and shelling them from vantage postions in the heights surrounding NK (the territory that Armenia now holds) - it is both highly hypocritical that you toss acusations against Armenia in this conflict and it is also highly amusing that you would think that Armenia would ceede this lands without Azeri assurances for peace. No instead the Alieves and others in Azerbaijan do nothing but increase the warmongering and hateful rhetoric - meanwhile the Armenain side has taken entirely resonable stances. So stuff it already.

I also did mentioned about Azeri mistratment but also added that Azeri mistreatment is not the reason for KArabag war. KArabag started since 1905 and 1918. With the Soviet era it's cooled down but later it started from where it stopped in 1920s. THis is obvious, this being clear, I see attempts to reduce KArabag events to Azeri mistreatment is just to falsify or took attention away from the long Armenian aims towards Karabag. I restate it, if Armenians were treated like kings would you expect them to live under Azerbeyjan?

Yeah well I asked your source for the 800,000 number too, the UN one... can you provide me with that?

I don't agree that the war was premeditated as you seem to have asserted (it began in 1905 and 1918). This is total nonsense. Remember Artsakh and Naghigevan were Stalins gifts if you will to a new nation called "Azerbaijan", and were used as political pieces in driving a wedge between Armenia and Azerbaijan - which it has...
