Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

    Without sounding like a Nazi

There is marked differences between Celtic facial features, notably
that we term Celts (Gaels and Bretons) have high cheekbones,
small foreheads and show signs of brachycephaly, that coupled with
dark hair or red hair and high percentage of Green eyes generally
make up what we define as Celts.

Anglo Saxons generally mirror other Scandinavians in physical anthropology,
showing large amounts of blondism, prominent chins, high brows, dolichocephaly
generally points to German heritage, in addition to the ethno linguistic beingg that English is a Germanic language, albeit with other languages loan words.

Note that I am not saying there aren't blond Celts, but most Celts still have
similar facial features, much like there are differences and similarities between
    East Asians and Southeast Asians

Now I know I sound like some psycho dude with an anthropology book, but generally there is a difference in Celtic features.
I am not discriminating against Anglo Saxons, I hope I didn't give anyone that idea, just saying we have different histories and cultures

In addition Irish, Scots and Welsh mirror the facial features of the Celts in Bretanny in France

Well, the Angles, Saxons & Jutes came from northern Germany & Denmark. Saxons from Sachsen (Saxony), Jutes from Jutland.

Many, many Welsh show Mediterranean features, black hair, dark eyes and olive complexions, look at Catherine Zeta Jones, Joseph, we've been here before!

        Very true

Actually some say the Celts migrated from the Mediterranean so I dunno.
Many Welsh do exhibit those features, for that matter many Irish too (Andrea Corr, Colin Farrell).

I think Catherine Zeta Jones though is part Greek if I remember correctly on her mother's side, thats how she got she got the Zeta as it was her Grandmother's name.

But wholeheartedly agree with you mate

I'm sorry if I sound like the anthropology Nazi, just I had the subject in high school at higher grade as part of biology and it kinda stuck over the years

Found this on chickipedia.Don`t know how trustworthy this site is:

          Introduction
Zeta-Jones, the middle of three children, was born Catherine Zeta Jones in Swansea, a maritime city located on the southern coast of Wales and the hometown of poet Dylan Thomas. Her mother, Patricia (née Fair), was an Irish seamstress, and her father, David "Dai" Jones, was a Welsh sweet factory owner. Her name stems from those of her grandmothers — her maternal grandmother, Katherine Fair, and her paternal grandmother, Zeta Jones, who is of north Greek origin.

            Thank you eti.

ı try to emphasis on one thing. when we close our eyes and just imagine that we dont belong to any religon or country, then it would be rather difficult to make us kill or hate each other . all people must question his religon and his nationalizm feelings. religons are clearly dangerous sharply dividing people not less than idiotic nationalizm. and islam is the worst of worse.turkish nationalizm is together with many other nationalizms including americas, is also among the worsts.thats why its vert difficult to live in this country. there is no freedom for free brains here.

some leaders for some reasons pointed christians of anatolia as the reason of all the losses of ottomans.and these mass killings happened by provocations and brain washes. but this dont make our grandfathers or us evils. what make us evil is not accepting this even after a century and still humiliating and hurting these people.this is shame.

you know why turkish state refuse this so strongly, not because of turkish pride or honour, because they dont want us ,turks to be free people, free brains.they want a standart same people who all think the same, who all believe the same, who boast about his turkishness like an idiot. we are dangerous people for this country. because we ask questions which they hate to hear.

Shouldn't there also be the obligatory 1/500th Armenian in there somewhere?
