Just pay attention that in the foreign relations committee all the members in their speeches recognized AG as a historical truth but regardless the fact about half of them openly declared that recognizing the fact is not profitable for the United States.
Eventually unveiling nowadays USA real face world wide. Thus Hillary Clinton on behalf of America declared that when they judge a criminal: the sentence will depend on profitability of the court decision to USA and if it is not, the victim will be sentenced, instead. Truth doesn't matter much.
This proves that for some of the nowadays USA politicians Judah Iscariot’s image is the most typical: 30 silver coins matters most.
In addition, note please that America doesn't loose the 30 silvers, by accepting AG because:

What happened to France-Turkish relations after passing the Armenian Genocide bill … nothing! Now Turks are handling their politics with France more cautiously and politely, than ever before.
After accepting the AG bill by US Congress, the same thing will happen to US-Turkey relations, after a week of bitter cries, Turks will express their readiness to do everything the US requires, providing that the AG compensation process is frozen for a while.Last edited by gegev; 03-07-2010, 12:50 AM.

India is likely going to be a 1st world nation by the end of this century, and I would bet on India over China simply because its economic policy covers the whole nation (China just focuses on the cities), its economy is more efficient (and better planned) and of course as opposed to China it is a well functioning democracy. When US power wanes in the middle east, all the other powers will move in; no one will ever abandon the middle east.Last edited by gegev; 03-03-2010, 02:16 AM.

C'mon; nobody in Washington would want to split such a country for unbalanced smaller states.

Re: Turkey will be split apart as Iraq is.
They see Turkey as an ideal Muslim state.
If that is true then it is a sad time we live in. A country based on barberism and murder is somehow seen as a ideal state of some sort. Give me a break, there is nothing to idealize about turckey. The only reason those arabic states are not developing is because isreal and usa wont let them.

Re: Turkey will be split apart as Iraq is.
Actually theres a huge conflice between Israel and Obama's USA over Turkey.
Israel wants to keep the current status of Turkey: As a bad brother in the region, only friendly with Israel.
Obama's USA and current government in Turkey wants a 'leading' Turkey in the region. That is why every week a minister visits Syria; Erdogan talks against Israel, the Armenian-Turkish relationship thing, dialogue with Kurds...
The truth is, Obama is not Armenians' friend. Obama wants to control Middle East over Turkey. And non-hawk lobby in USA is planning to balance Iran's influence in the region with Turkey.

I've travelled some Arabic states this summer and I've seen that, the people there are favoring Turkey a lot. They see Turkey as an ideal Muslim state. They might have been supporting the recognizition of the genocide, however that does not change the fact that, they think Turkey is better than any other Arabic states.
So, as a model; as a power in the region; as a good-friend of USA; and as a good-friend of Israel; as a good economy; good influence; as a Muslim Sunni state.....
C'mon; nobody in Washington would want to split such a country for unbalanced smaller states.
