Re: History of the Armenian Genocide

Maybe in front of public eyes French tried to show the world that they loved and cared for Armenians but in isolated areas and villages they tried to assimilate us and other orthodox Christians by every possible ways. I think this was a conspiracy that was conspired against orthodox Christians in that region and every big country had their dirty hands in it. We heard stories from our grandparents how French and English forces quietly left in the middle of the night just before turks came the next morning and massacred whole villages.
French did to my mother’s village and some other Armenian villages in Syria (these regions were part of Cilician kingdom long time ago) almost the same as turks did to Armenians in Cilicia by trying to assimilate them in every methods possible, by not allowing them to learn Armenian in their schools, closing Armenian churches, they brought in Franciscan missionaries and built a big church with a big school attached to it, they gave food and financial aid to the ones willing to convert, and once someone was converted they started brainwashing them in school or at church to hate their fellow Armenians, every once a while inflicting fights amongst them, sometimes these fights ended up with them killing each other. Most of the villagers were somehow related to each other. While turks were massacring Armenians in that region they refused to give Armenians a shelter and protection unless they were willing to convert. It was an Arab Muslim tribe who protected Armenians in that village against turkish massacres.

You're confused bro. Best stop here.
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.

Did you even read any of what I posted or what Yedtarts wrote? Or do you only put blame on the hitman and not the person that paid the hitman?

The French had the turks kill off Armenians? I can understand the jooish connection, but to say the Europeans encouraged the turks to kill off the Armenians is not likely, and that is putting it mildly.

Well, let's just use the word "financiers" instead. Germany obviously encouraged the Turks and aided with the Genocide. France and Britain also had an interest in the Berlin to Baghdad railway and ultimately made their decision on Armenian fate based on the investment. So really if we really want to trivialize matters, Armenians got screwed over a railroad track.

The Europeans, just as any other country, played to their interests. The Germans had more of a role in the actual Genocide than any of the other European powers at the time. The French, didn't do much to protect the Armenians in Cilicia, and the brits have never been pro Armenia. I suspect the rothschild rivalry for control of baku oil vis a vis Mantashev may have been an influence on the british government but it's no more than speculation.

What I disagree with is the notion that the turks are less gulity or not as bad as the Europeans, or that the Europeans directly encouraged the turks to kill off the Armenians.

Re: History of the Armenian Genocide

Maybe French or English as governments were not directly involved in Armenian Genocide, maybe they were only after their benefits without considering the consequences to how many people could die, but since it is pretty clear to us who were behind (perpetrators and financers) of the Armenian Genocide, I’m pretty sure that there were lots of high ranked officers in both Armies that were loyal to another master and by obeying their other master’s orders, indirectly pushed and helped the genocide agenda.

                    And who were the financers?
