trying to create eneminess against a nation, based on false history ,is not good.

dividing Turkey into 3 is argued in this forum.

My starting are for them, and if you agree on that ,for you too.

Trying to debate the genocide with a Turk is like feeding one of them a soup with a fork. You'll never get to really know how it tastes until someone with a spoon convinces you of the flavor.

One more information i caught on tv , i cant remember the numbers well but,

In one of the years of 1980s, over 100 academicians from USA, signed an academic declaration , telling there is not evidance to prove genocide,many evidances are false and WW propoganda,like Blue Book of Toynbee.

Some years later, in 90s i guess, Turks demanded those university teachers to sign a similar declaration. And that time,most of those scientists rejected to sign it.
Do you know why,because they were threatened of causing harm to them and their family, by radical groups in USA.

Today few of them left ,still telling the truth,like Justin McCarthy,i hope he is in safety in democracy's leader country.

I am a univeristy student in Turkey. I dont like politics a lot and probably i will not do it. I will stay as member of quiet majority in my country.

If i get abroad one day, if i meet an Armenian friend, i will never treat with hostile feelings, but with good will of sharing same geography. And i will be glad if i be treated likewise.

Some people dont want us to be peaceful in the region and waste our energy by arguing like this .

I think that, majorities of both sides dont have hostile feelings, and ready to deal well. But little radical groups are keeping these arguments alive. And their voice come out louder.

So all people from each side, when they talk, they try to answer those radicals' thesis. And we find our selves hassling.

After all , in my opinion, the case is, Turks came from North China, invaded Christian lands.

Well we cant help about it. Turkish Republic's aim has allways been peace in the region, unless its unity would be under threat.

If you blame Turks for coming here 1000 years ago, check world history books again or just check CNN for 2005's world.

Thank you, cemil, for once again affirming what I've been saying the last week or so (and what my in depth research proved/showed):

A. The Turks can't make up their minds on what their own story/line of defense is to begin with, and
B. Most of their excuses don't justify their actions in any way, shape or form, and often contridict themselves.

Once again, you guys (Turks) REALLY need to get together as a nation, and figure out just what version of "true history" you're going with. Instead of worrying about fighting us on this topic, you need to worry about not fighting each other.

I didn't ignore "what you think". I stated that what Turks think is very inconsistent, so how is one supposed to reply? If what we say is a total lie, why can't you guys come up with one, coherent, uniform story/timeline? If you'd free your mind, you'd already know why, just as many of your Turkish colleagues know:

True, it must be very easy to compose perfect explanations, by filling the blanks with false evidances like Blue Book, and even the author confrimed its only ww propoganda done by England ,France.. against enemy Ottomans, along with similar propoganda against Germany, during and after 1st WW.

Yes its very easy to be convincing , when you keep depending on lies.

I didnt tell ,your claims are total lie.. so i wrote all those long texts.

Turkish people, who confirm your claims are public-enemies, or at least individuals who dont share national benefits, run by foreign capital, western aims on our country.

Turks are mostly confident/ stable minded people, we dont want to get in unnecessery arguments and waste energy

You can call laziness also , for long centuries, turks were sitting on their village doing agriculture,praying the god to give more harvest..while non-muslims were doing trade, in dynamic way of thinking.. sociological facts..

You can call also confidence of invading 3 continent, making mediterrenean Turkish lake in 16th century..

However, while we were sitting on that country, north atlantic countries invaded the globe arround us and surrounded us, and we were stuck in the middle and got weaker every passing century..

We really are not likely to join your boards, and argue a lot. Because we are busy with thinking about country, dealing with that kind of public enemies also..

So you wont easily find efforts like i did here,evaluate it well,i recomend.

I really dont have any hope for you , but, if one day in future, you manage to pass over Turks, and make them convinced, level 2 will be very difficult for you ;
You will find Jews against you. They wont be like Turks. They will say ''if this is genocide done against armenians, then what was that done against us? ''
