    • Arnold, the person you choosed as governor, even claimed Armenian genocide. What does he know about it
Does he even know where Turkey is on the map?
      Everyone is using you.
May I ask a question, what do you think about Algerian genocide? France still deny their own genocide and their parliement approve Armenian genocide. Is it logical?
Yes it was a massacre. It was very bad and shameful. But inisiting on the word genocide brings us nowhere. Because personally I don't want to be the scapegoat of Europeans' crimes.

If those two were real genocides how can you describe what Americans did to Indians since only some hundreds of Indians left at the whole continent?
Specifically here - Dr Melson - a Jew and a Holocaust survivor BTW - wrote this book specifically comparing the Genocide and the Holocaust. The book reveals striking parallels in the development of the situations in each nation and of the relationships between the dominant majority ethnic-religious group to the victimized minority ethnic-religious group.

In general the comparisons are made because most people in the world are not at all even aware of the Armenian Genocide. The Jewsih Holocaust is a point of reference that most everyone is familiar with. And the parallels between these two events are extensive and significant. I have posted on these in the past - perhaps you require that I do so again...

The term genocide was developed by Ralph Lemkin in large part to specifically describe the Armenian Genocide as no words existed to describe such terrible crimes.

I do not live in California. Obviously it was a political move - so what - he has a large Armenian constituency that cares about this issue - and it was the right thing to do. It is however unimportant. What is important - and what you should be concerned about is that your nations denies it - and it is the truth - it is what was done - it is what happened.

          • Again the same shi*
Ataturk never involved to such a crime. What 400.000 Armenians killed by Ataturk are you talking about. By saying this you proved that ou don't know the history and you are ignorant about history.
Just parroting Dadrian doesn't make you an intellectual, sorry.

wrong. And I don't parrot Dadrian - I have done extensive reading and research on this issue - including Dadrian - of course - but my primary sources do not tend to be Dadrian and are varied non-the less.

Again I think I have already posted describing Ataturks involvement during your (so-called) War of national Liberation. You should look into the memoirs of General Karim Karrabekir...among others...

I have answered this question. Likewise I adressed the issue of the Native American "Genocde" previoulsy. It can be considered a Genocide though its undertaking as a whole was not as specific or deliberate as the Turkish one against the Armenians. BTW - its in our history books...and there were and are considerably more then a few hundreds of Native Americans then adn now...I know I know...its in the Turkish history books - I understand....tsk tsk...

Since your "Americans" found a new continent and killed %99 of all people former inhabitants of the continent. %99
And you still are trying to advocate your America.
                    Bravo
Did USA approved it as genocide????
                    Noooo....
Instead they showed natives as guilty with your Hollywood. And noted at history books like: yes we killed very few of them, but they were attacking to our immingrants, they were barbars, etc.

I think I have forgotten - did you say that you liked Chinese food? Or do you prefer Mexican?

BTW - you have not read the piece I posted concerning Lemkin and the origin of the term Genocide. It seems you wish to remain ignorant...no matter - I'm outa here for today...
