Berktay is not an Ottoman historian. He even don't know Ottoman language.
Akcam is worse, he even is not an historian.
Bernard Lewis is one of the most respectful historian of Ottomans. And you solicidet for denying genocide.

Of course i have read all of them quite extensively - even Lewis - who BTW admited the Genocide and the 1.5 million figure quite extensively in his famous book on Ottoman History published in 1961.

There is no direct need for historians to neccisarily know the Ottoman language as there is a great deal of primary material on the Genocide and related history in English and German (for instance). Ackam uses much German archival reports in his analysis as well as a large variety of Turkish reports that have been published in modern Turkish. He is not insterested per se in events of the 16th century and such. And again - you attack the person - "oh he is a socialist and a criminal" etc instead of addressing the very serious and valid issues that they raise.

I agree, Armenians can continue to xxxxxxxxxx themselves with attacking and labelling Turks in this forum. They are free to pathologically play the victim, parrot and believe the same stereotypes.

We are talking about 1915. You accuse the Ottoman Empire which has a great official documents archive dated 1915. Official reports between local officers and the government about deportation of Armenians.
There is no need to read them because the reports and propoganda books of UK, France,etc. of that time is enough???
