Campaign For Erection Of Armenian Terror Monument In New York

NEW YORK - The International Turkish Societies Federation (ITSF) has begun a campaign to erect an ''Armenian Terror Monument'' in New York, the United States to remember 42 Turkish diplomats and their relatives killed by Armenian terrorists.
ITSF officials have invited Turks all over the globe to assist in erecting the ''Armenian Terror Monument''.
An ITSF representative indicated that for years international circles have been put to sleep by Armenian diaspora's lies.
''It is high time to talk about the truths. We are establishing a committee of Turkish architects and historians to build the most original monument which will send a strong message about Armenian terrorist organization ASALA atrocities against Turkish diplomats and relatives,'' noted an ITSF source.

However, the right of Turks and such scholars as Bernard Lewis and Justin McCarthy to express their views about the issue can’t be taken from them.’ Meanwhile, giving equal time to Turkey’s thesis in history classes is a nightmare for the Armenians as well, because they want everybody to consider the issue from their point of view. Up to now Turkey’s ‘categorical denial’ policy aroused a backlash in the West and helped the Armenians. However, if the suit in Massachusetts is successful, it would set an important precedent.
