Do you really think we're going to get any of our demands? or at least have the turks give up some of theirs?

The Turks are not going to open anything until Karabagh issue is solved and as I observe, the Westerners are also pushing for a quick solution of the matter. They are pressing Armenia because they want Turkey in the EU.

I read alot of articles worldwide on the protocols passing, all the media now refers to the genocide as "an old dispute".."rift", etc.. That looks like the terms there headed for now. Also for Turkey to talk about the genocide is an insult to their pride and their very proud people, read that alot. Hillary really got the Armenians good. I'm sure the Turks will throw her a grand dinner party in NYC.

Talking about Genocide Recognition in the USA is kind of pathetic now.

Armenia is merely along for the ride. The Anglo powers are an ally of Turkey, not Armenia and the ascendancy of the Asia powers has given various powers a premise for far greater collaboration.

Although I can appreciate Armenian apprehension and I realize that this agreement does not go far enough, since it fails to recognize the 1915 Armenian genocide.

I fail to see how this accord can be viewed as a bad thing. Since the Armenian and Turkish people are neighbors and greater regional peace and stability is in both peoples long term, economic and geo-political interests.

The very fact that the Turks have been so evasive on this issue and for so long is indicative of their guilt and the Turks reputation has gone from bad to worse as a result.

Nevertheless Today's Turks are not responsible for past events and the Armenian people should not fall into the trap of seeking justice/retribution retroactively.

I agree with everything that you said except the last part. If that were the case then all the money joos have recieved from Germany should be given back.

The Turkish American Cultural Center's main purpose and goal is Genocide Denial and teach Americans how Armenian People are lying about the Genocide. They spends Billions of dollars on it. They need to admit the truth and apologize. Their responsible for being genocide deniers.

Why are you worried? Most Europeans do not want Turkey in the European Union, and if it went for a vote now dozens of nations would veto. They don't want a nation with human rights abuses that reach to the sun, 100 million more beggars (the wealthier nations many other EU nations as burdens right now), and Greece and the Balkan countries still haven't forgiven Turkey over the Balkan wars. So chance of joining right now = NIL

With one minor difference, on april 24 we stood like brave .. we decided to die for the cause. but on october 10, we handed the turks the win by our hands.

The most embarassing thing was, the armenian side refusing to sign.. and clinton coming and grabbing the armenian side and force them to sign.
