Do you really think politics work like that every thing done has a consequence bad or good.
Honorable politicians, when they make a mistake the decent thing is to resign.
But when politicians who win power through vote rigging to enhance their corrupt activities, honor does not come into it.
Unfortunately you are unable to call BLACK black and WHITE white.
Reminds me of Nalbandian, from the school of authoritarianism, "we can always lie or suppress the truth".
Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests
Re: Turkish-Armenian signing delayed; Clinton departs
I read alot of articles worldwide on the protocols passing, all the media now refers to the genocide as "an old dispute".."rift", etc.. That looks like the terms there headed for now. Also for Turkey to talk about the genocide is an insult to their pride and their very proud people, read that alot. Hillary really got the Armenians good. I'm sure the Turks will throw her a grand dinner party in NYC.
Talking about Genocide Recognition in the USA is kind of pathetic now.
Re: Turkish-Armenian signing delayed; Clinton departs
The historical commission, what a joke. I assume we might as well just hold a historical commission on Stalin, and appoint Stalinist historians to rewrite history. Fortunately it doesn't say either party is obligated to take action after the results of the Turkish parody of the Armenian Genocide (which they nicely call a 'commission').
Re: Turkish-Armenian signing delayed; Clinton departs
Where is "Armenian" and the rest of the lackeys to see the achievements of their beloved Government. I remember when they were cheering for Sarkisian who was shooting Armenian protesters.
If we were a real democracy this dictator would have never sold our national interests in order not to be criticized by the Western Powers.
With one minor difference, on april 24 we stood like brave .. we decided to die for the cause. but on october 10, we handed the turks the win by our hands.
The most embarassing thing was, the armenian side refusing to sign.. and clinton coming and grabbing the armenian side and force them to sign.
does sargysyan have any dignity?
