  • Vegetarianism?

So what do you think about being a vegetarian? Could and would you ever do it?

I did it for this past lent (although I'm not a christian) just to see if i could do it, and i thought it was fairly easy, i don't think i could do a vegan diet however. Anyways I've been thinking about doing it again to see if i would make it permanent, and was just wondering what you'll thought about it, and if any of you out there are vegetarian or vegan as well.

(Btw, when i say vegetarian, i mean giving up fish and poultry as well. If it's muscle, than it's meat)

Well some might say you have to belong to the Armenian Apostolic Church to be a true Armenian. Anyways i could still have the oghi, i'll just get drink the extra calories i can't get through the rabbit food

          Re: Vegetarianism?

I'm vegetarian for most of the month. I used to eat meat every day but I got fed up. I like to eat fish a couple of times a month but beyond that I'm fine without meat. I eat legumes in vast quantities and the times where I do eat meat, I can actually feel their benefit for my body instead of taking it for granted as a staple diet.

If I learned to hunt though, I would have no problems getting my own meat because my main problem with meat isn't the fact that they're animals, but because of how they are raised and how we collect their meat.

Oh man... khorovats. The closest thing i've had in nearly 5 months is Tandoori chicken.

                    Re: Vegetarianism?

I would eat khorovats regardless of my vegetarian habits. It's actually worth it.
