To acknowledge that there is a God in the understanding means you aknowledge some sort of existence or presence in the mind, therefore, if you call yourself an atheist, and have used the word "God" then you are not an atheist, you are someone who chooses not to believe, rather than doesnt believe.
I need to learn more of agnostics before I can tear them apart.
