No. It shows the world is being more politically correct, hardly an improvement.

that's only if somebody assumes that the whites are more qualified or that the employers are hiring for the same reasons. what's your idea of improvement then? it being all white so it's honest? that's dumb. it has to start somewhere.

Let's not drag this thread off topic. You're making baseless assumptions. My idea of improvement is for the government to stop forcing laws on people forcing integration or affirmitive action. Your position assumes that an unqualified black deserves the job because he is black. That sounds racist to me.

lol that wasn't offtopic and it wasn't baseless. i'm not saying that unqualified people deserve anything. you just made a baseless assumption. i don't like affirmatrive action either. but it isn't everywhere or anything. maybe theyre being hired because the company likes them. how do you know they were hires because of affirmative action? your assuming taht there was a white guy who didn't get the job.

How do I know? Because if you visit the post office, or the DMV, or any other state government offices, where you see fat black ladies that are the laziest workers in the world, you know they were hired by affirmitive action, during the Tom Bradley era.

see? you just made it go offtopic. this isn't about government run stuff. it's calling companies. and sure you can find examples but not enough that if you call somewhere and hear someone with an accent that they are there becvause of affirmative action.

You must be new. What you are trying to do at the moment is playing handball against the wall. No matter what you do the ball bounces back. Move on with your foruming.

Companies must meet 'equal' hiring practices. And I can tell when someone is black or not over the phone, based on accent alone.

it doesn't mean that somebody was hired for that reason only. you are assuming they are the less qualified choice.

and so can everyone else! jeez! i didn't say you couldn't.
