And when you say it costs 10-15 dollars you dont take into account the shipping costs, the tariffs, the cost to open stores and hire people to work and sell the shoes in the stores.
Marvelous. I can't believe I agree with the Michael Imperioli look alike.

its in very inhuman circumstances people are put to work, with very low pay check.

what if it was you who was forced to work in those circumstances, and were even forced to send your 7 year old son or dauther to labour as well, because you had no other choice. Because some fat idiot who payes money to israel every year from usa to his relatives so they can kill more palestinians,
wants to earn more money, and is using you and your country,so your countr has have become dependent on USA, and this company, who are paying you very little , and treating you like an animal?

would you think it was fair?

If they have no better jobs then i dont see anything wrong with it. On the contrary they should be happy they get a job. Im not saying the sweatshop owners cant be kinder, what i am saying is that the sweatshop, no matter how bad is still better than what they had before, otherwise they wouldnt go work there. noone is forcing them to work.

You're right they have no better options...but the company is treating them very badly, its inhuman, for example childlabour!?
Its not right to use people like that, one day i would like to see that fat man who owns the company doing this kind of work, see how long he would manage to work...

Tres Bien: I understand your point. Although they are not being forced into labor and the pay they receive is acceptable for the relative economy, it is in a way entrapment or at least merciless. However, do you blame the company or the country for having such loose labor laws?

Because here i think its law. They try to lie and put out like Spain, if they selling israeli fruit, but accoring to law they must state where their products are made.
I am yet to see a product labelled "Made in Israel." Not many people would buy it. Legal or illegal, they do it.
