You guys need to stop "arguing" with Dan. He's like a little kid, whatever points you prove, he'll just come back and say they are exceptions.

And that is why they are not famous the world over, and why composers such as Bach, Mozart, Chopen, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Wagner, Tchaikovsky, are far more famous and preferred. And I am to guess this is because of overt "racism" that we don't know about these great black composers. Really, let's stop with this egalitarian sillyness of trying to prove "we are all equal".Originally posted by SeapahnHere are a few more to add to your collection of exceptions ... from the same friend. Why would you assume this is about proving/disproving equality? I thought this thread was about "Has there ever been a black or Jewish person who was a good person or who came up with an original idea?"Originally posted by AnonymouseReally, let's stop with this egalitarian sillyness of trying to prove "we are all equal".
i.e. we are pondering the question of existence rather than proportions. Of course Dan's childish counter argument is "exceptions" while in the grand scheme of things, that (i.e. acknowleding existence of exceptions) in itself proves the existence of intelligent blacks which completely undermines Dan's wonderful fantasy world of Blacks being monkeys from Affrica.Last edited by Sip; 04-24-2004, 08:59 PM.this post = teh win.

Well, we already know you are intelligent (although some others may claim that is debatable). But that's probably why the thread was titled "Question for Dan"Originally posted by AnonymouseOkay, my mistake. The answer is obviously 'Yes'.

Well, I'm not intelligent, I'm just good at posting long protracted posts and copy and pasting for the most part. But Dan has a way of arguing against facts with opinions, and if not, there is always the "Originally posted by SeapahnWell, we already know you are intelligent (although some others may claim that is debatable). But that's probably why the thread was titled "Question for Dan"
" defense mechanism which kicks in right about when there are insufficient responses. But it's okay for Grandpa Jones loves Dan!

I don't believe any of this fanatic muslim crap. Islam is a nifty recruitment tool for the osama bin losers of the world. If you can't convince someone there's a god and heaven how are you gonna convince them to kill themselves for you. I bet even bin laden doesn't believe his own crap at the end of long days in the cave.Originally posted by AnonymouseBy the way Dan, you never quite effectively answered to me why war on Muslims is justified simply because they are "fanatic Muslims".

There is a difference in being fanatic in your belief and using that fanaticism as a jumping point to other evil acts. In modern times, no Christian country has ever done that. USA certainly didn't attack Iraq for religious reasons, that's for sure. Whereas many many Muslims preach hatred based on religion.By the way Dan, you never quite effectively answered to me why war on Muslims is justified simply because they are "fanatic Muslims".
