What would nothingness be like….

Here’s a thought.

Take blindness. You see absolutely nothing. But what is this “nothing”? Is it just black? Than that means when someone is blind, all they see is pitch black. Which is something. Or is it nothing?

How about if a person can’t see, can’t hear, can’t feel(touch), can’t taste and can’t smell all together.

So you would think that the person can rely on his/her inner self to feel, or see.

You can dream- but what would you dream of? You were blind since day one. You have nothing to base the visuals of your dreams on. No shapes, no colors, nothing.

You can imagine- What would you imagine? You have nothing to base/mimic your imaginations on.

So you’re a body- in which blood goes through, your heart pumps blood, your organs work, but you don’t feel ANYTHING. Except maybe emotional pain/happiness, but again, there is nothing that can trigger these feelings- you need some outside influence for these feeling to arise.

So can you say this is nothingness? Afterall, what gives this person the ability to acknowledge his being? Nothing.

So death must be similar. Even if there is something, you are not able to acknowledge it. Which makes the being of this “something” equivalent to nothing.
