The jihadists have been at war with us since the 1970's and we've been ignoring them.

You DO realize that there was absolutely NO POINT to this war... right? We went in, bombed the entire place and left it in shambles, just to catch Saddam Hussein (which makes no difference at all since those working under him/for him will still be carrying on) and now we're trying to rebuild it so as not to piss more people off.

The people working for him are in that human pyramid you saw pictures of. The fact that we're now gonna be compensating these people is sickening to me.

And left it in shambles, really? Here's a list...

* Over 400,000 kids have up-to-date immunizations.
* School attendance is up 80% from levels before the war.
* Over 1,500 schools have been renovated and rid of the weapons stored there so education can occur.
* The port of Uhm Qasar was renovated so grain can be off-loaded from ships faster.
* The country had its first 2 billion barrel export of oil in August.
* Over 4.5 million people have clean drinking water for the first time ever in Iraq.
* The country now receives 2 times the electrical power it did before the war.
* 100% of the hospitals are open and fully staffed, compared to 35% before the war.
* Elections are taking place in every major city, and city councils are in place.
* Sewer and water lines are installed in every major city.
* Over 400,000 people have telephones for the first time ever.
* Students are taught field sanitation and hand washing techniques to prevent the spread of germs.
* An interim constitution has been signed.
* Textbooks that don't mention Saddam are in the schools for the first time in 30 years


But as you can see the jihadists' psychological warfare is working. One person's head gets cut off and you're all ready to run for the hills. They're probably right, we are meek.

The Chinese are buying up large amounts of pertol which is why the prices keep going up. It's gonna be like that for a while I think. Which is also a good thing. When you stretch people they get innovative.

damn chinks hoggin up all the damn resources, i read about that too...but in LA you can't stretch gas. people drive and there is no substitution for it.
