Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

My thoughts today are clouded, especially after the recent split of this thread which obviously did not contain any sort of flaming or debate, but rather fun stuff.

Come to think about it, I think we should let the moderators have some fun too. So I guess it's ok.

EWww, I had a nasty day.... my blood pressure was WOW... not all of it was bad, i got a B+ on one of my rushed essays lol... and then I went and got some cash from my debit card, and I looked at the balance, and I was like wh0a, this is short by 500 dollars from what I saw yesterday online while I was paying the bills.... and the whole thing started then.... I was thinking about it all the way from school, on the bus.. an hour and a half.. i went yellow and pale.. argh.. i was almost gonna cry... i got home and puked, well, naturally.. lol... and then tried to get my other computer working so that i'd check my account online and change my pin, cos i was scared that the other one might have a keylogger installed on it and that's what the whole thing was all about, i thought. so the other computer didn't work.. so i said, to hell with it, i'm gonna check it on my computer... so i did, and it turns out it was a mistake on my part, instead of 1150, i had "seen" 1500 lol... ugh.. now i'm so pissed off at myself.. i almost had a heart attack on the way home.. my mom would kill me if she finds out that someone's gotten into my bank account lol.. cos, well, i haven't earned it.. if i had, i wouldn't have worried myself to death. argh

so yea.... terrible day. i need a hot bath to relax all those muscles now ugh.

Great pictures beautiful words. Showing both the problems that our great nation is faced with such as a young boy with no legs as a result of the Kharbakh war and a poor family in the midst of rubble in Gyumri as well as our great capital Yerevan with beautiful girls and BMW's and Merc's and beautifully dressed kids going to parties and all. It highlighted our history and how the nation is finally getting back to its feet. Once again beautiful article, made me so much happier.
Another great article.. This time in the New York Times:

LInk to the article: Turks Breach Wall of Silence on Armenians

            Dear Diary,

Thanks to ckBejug for creating a universal account for New York times, I think it was a great idea. I've omitted to read the article about Turks, since frankly I am a little tired of the topic for now, maybe later. I hope that ckBejug won't find that insulting.

Also I would like to mention my latest achievement. Craving to see stars at night, which are not visible in New York very often, I decided to create my own artificial sky. A friend of mine bought some glowing stars for me and I glued them to the ceiling of my room. Now when I go to sleep, I look up and see a starry night. It's absolutely magical. Go ahead make fun of me, I know I am still a little kid sometimes.

I was 2 hours late for work this morning.

Next time I set my alarm I should try to remember to turn in ON. !

In other news, I accidentally just emailed my boss something that was meant to go to someone else at work. Damn quick mail numbered email boxes. You think I will get fired for telling my boss he needs a nice tall glass of shut the hell up?

It would serve me right for trying to use such a stupid line!

He better believe me when I explain that it was meant for someone else. So what kind of cake says 'I'm groveling, please don't fire me' best?

                Dear Journal,

Today I converted to Judaism. I have now been wearing my cool hat and curls for roughly 25 hours, and it feels good to be Jewish. I will receive my circumcision tomorrow. By the way, it should be noted that I am a Jew for Jesus.
