I don't know the exact french origine in it .. but in common french.. Lianne means those plants...(forgot the name in english)....that Tarzan grabs to swing from tree to tree...

I've been working on my family tree, dating back as far as my parents can remember, and I noticed that my brother and 2 cousins are the only males in the family that are going to carry the family name.
