Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

You can't hold a man down without staying down with him.

you guys make things overly difficult... those who drink wont listen to those who tell them not to drink, those who dont drink dont drink, those who dont care just simply dont care (see how simple that was) so LET BE!!!!How do you hurt a masochist?
-By leaving him alone.Forever.

Well...it's funny how american medias in general make fun on how easily Sangaporeans can get some hoes compared to go to the local store and buy chewing gums (those people are really clean, they don't want gums on their pavements).
We could make fun of the US in the same way that it's harder to get some alcohol when your 16 altough you can get handguns very easily..
"YOU CAN'T DRINK BEFORE 21" is a stupid law....If young people could drink alcohol legally, it would be much easier to prevent them being badly drunk...experiencing something illegal is fun eh?
Personnaly, I think alcohol should be a more social drink during a party or any other occasions...not some way of "being cool because I drink J&B" or to forget about a girlfriend cheating on us...those two reasons are pathetic!

Originally posted by XxgoeyxXhaha...I like you girl. Your awsome. yes drinking suck. Its nasty as hell. And even worse when guys are drunk and try to hit on you. Its such a turn off. Okay so who cares if you drink here and there with your friends or at a party or whatever. But its just stupid to drink cause it "cool" cause its not cool. (sorry I know we already came to that conclusion). Anyways drinking sucks and college kids need to stop drinking so much.
Sorry I didn't read your messages, have pretty much to catch on because of my school timetable...
It seems we have the same way of thinking.. you see, pumkin are fully controlable

Anyway, how am I taking it way too seriously? Stating an opinion, and the reasoning as to why you hold it is not being "way too serious". It's....sorta' the point of a discussion. Far from being overly serious, I presented an analyzation of the topic on hand, and the situation/reasons that surround it. The only reason the thread is turning serious is because those that drink are getting upset. It's only natural that when you go against the grain, the masses get offended/defensive. Isn't that right, Mr. Anarchist?
Originally posted by angelik22just go jump off a cliff please- im sure u drink too- even a sip- so stop criricizing...maybe no reason 4 drinking- but its jsut what peole do- may not be right bt people do it... so lets have a drink to that and fowget aboot it!but lets not question stupid things peole do- caue theres no point in it- cause its stupid and people do it...end o story dont worry be happy !!
A. If you read the thread all the way through, you will have noticed I mentioned I do partake in an occasional glass of red wine with a good meal (still experimenting with them). I also have a tendency to down a bottle of champagne as if it were a 2 liter of Coke, because that actually does taste good to me.. But again, this is not what people consider "drinking". Wine and champagne are not "cool" or used to get "wasted" or forget about problems very often.
B. Stop criticizing the stupid things that people do because "it's just what people do"? Oh that's brilliant. So stop criticizing the Turks for the Armenian genocide, or dumb, reckless 16 year olds driving cars too fast for them & causing accidents? Leave the 29 year old woman molester alone from the other thread? Hey, they're all just stupid people doing stupid things, right! Don't question it, there's no point! Oh wait, no. You meant the questioning line has to be drawn with the stupid things you like, not the stupid things that other people do which you don't agree with. Gotcha' now.
Originally posted by GSTracer05This forum is filled with a bunch of righteous preachers.
I can't speak for anyone else, but righteousness has nothing to do with my reasoning. I'm simply saying that for me, I don't do pointless stuff just because society has deemed it as "that's the way it is". If I find something is merely done to be accepted, or contains no reasoning good enough for me, I'm not interested in participating. To simplify my stance, I don't live for society's/my peers' approval.
