Do you work for JPL or NASA? What was your contribution to this project?

I was basically asking if you work at JPL in Pasadena, but you still answered the question.

The financial analyst huh? Must be some enormous numbers you have to work with.

That must be some patience you have. If I had to work with numbers all day I'd probably die of boredom. Of course some would say the same about my job. Anyway I am glad there are a lot of Armenian people here at Caltech/JPL/NASA.

emil is that napoleon dynomite??? LOL!!! YES! that was hilarious!

and yes we WERE having some trouble but this is what happened... If the spacecraft (s/c) notices that IT is too hot then it goes into safe mode (thats what its supposed to do) but we believed that the threshold for the heat sensors may have been set too low so it may have gone into safe mode even if it wasnt that hot, AND thats exactly what actually happened, so we are doing ok and its going thru its normal set of operations now... we arent in safe mode anymore... :P

                  go to
The primary mission of NASA's Deep Impact was to probe beneath the surface of a comet. The spacecraft delivered a special impactor into the path of Tempel 1

ASAP so you can see the launch pics... i was there, but my pictures arent as good, but i will post them when i get them into the computer...

                  GO DEEP IMPACT!!! YAY!

I have never seen this project have so many people smiling and happy...
