Russell Christoff was shopping in 2002 when he saw a familiar face on the Taster's Choice label... His! He had done a photoshoot in 1986 for $250 with 2000 more to come if they chose to use it. He forgot all about it and never heard from Nestle.

He filed suit for unauthorized use and profit of his image. Nestle offered to settle for 100,000 he refused. Christoff offered to settle for 8.5 million and Nestle refused, but last week LA Superior Court awarded him 15.6 million.
Christoff is a 2nd year Kindergarten teacher and is keeping his day job since Nestle is appealing the decision.
