actually! during school (junior high/high school) i do remember armos going around saying they're "1/2 armenian, 1/2 italian" or "1/2 armenian, 1/2 french" with such 'pride' EMPHASIZING the non-armenian part of their genome! i did not believe they were telling the truth because some think it's 'sexy' to be italian ??? (pretty shallow, i know)...whatever...i'm sure there are fat ugly hairy italians...

OH I KNOW WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT!!!! OMG I hate it when Armenian guys think they are all MAFIOSO with their "wannabe italian accents". LOL There was this guy I used to know, his last name was persian (he was Armenian) and it ended with an "I". LMAO HE used to tell people that he was half Italian. WTF!!! WHYYYY? Italians don't even like themselves and these idiots go around claiming to be Italian. Yes, we do look alike, but that's just stupid. Let them go claim to be Armenian!!!!!!

WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE SO STUPID? Moving to Glendale taught me ALOT about our culture. It has opened my eyes to the beauty that is ARMENIA. I used to know an Italian girl who was IN LOVE with Armenian guys! She used to go on and on about how hot they are and how classy they dress. I always used to tell her to stay away from our men!! LOL

I understand what you're saying... I've seen armenians say they're persian or lebanese,etc. I think it was more not wanting to say they're aremenian and italian being one of the more convincing options because of appearance, rather than thinking they're better than any other group.

There are obvious similarities. Religious inclinations, overbearing parents, beautiful women and short, hairy men, one-sided, 'traditional' marriages, corrupt governments, etc.
