I still do need to see many Lynch movies like Eraserhead and Wild at Heart.

There is one good thing about Ebert: he gives good commentaries on DVDs when he passionately appreciates a film. Dark City has an Ebert commentary.

Originally posted by TomServoCan you believe that Roger Ebert gave Blue Velvet, one star out of four? On the DVD they have the Siskel and Ebert taping where they reviewed the movie and Ebert blasts it. Siskel liked it though. I always liked Siskel more.Achkerov kute.

Top Ten of 2004:
1. Sideways
2. Shrek 2
3. Before Sunset
4. Shaun of the Dead
5. Hotel Rwanda
6. Collateral
7. Kill Bill Vol. 2
8. Bad Education
9. Shark Tale
10. Napoleon Dynamite
That should give you an idea of how slow a year it was. I didn't see The Incredibles or Million Dollar Baby or several other pretty acclaimed films, but even so, there are movies on that list that have no business being on a top ten list, but they make it there by default. To be honest, Sideways and Shrek 2 were the only movies I really liked.
Oh, and I just didn't understand the fuss over Eternal Sunshine. It wasn't a bad movie, but come on, it's nothing special and nothing I would ever want to see again.
Top Ten All Time:
1. The Graduate
2. Apocalypse Now
3. The Godfather Part II
4. The Empire Strikes Back
5. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
6. Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (only the extended edition, though)
7. The Godfather
8. Gone With The Wind
9. Chinatown
10. Once Upon a Time in The West
(I'm not taking the time to post pictures. You guys know what the posters look like.)
