      Re: Rental rates

In Glendale, one bedroom's are about $1,200. And that's something DECENT. We live in a 2-bedroom now, and we're paying what we came with, not what they charge newcomers, and it's $1,400.

Shit, if I could find a WHATEVER place for a hundred something, I'd take it.

        Re: Rental rates

Just to show all the Cali ppl how little I know about LA ...

I was looking on Craig's list when I was about to move out a few months ago and I found a furnished 1 bdrm apartment all utilities included in the city of LA, literally, for $550 a month. So now I think that living in the city of LA must be a total slum!

I normally HATE furnished apartments but considering that I have no furniture anymore and will be moving with whatever can fit in my car it seemed like an ok idea. Then I started thinking about bed bugs ... yuck!

          Re: Rental rates

Thanks to the government regulations like rent controls, and zoning laws, and the Federal Reserves credit expansion and interest rate under Greenspan, the entire housing, rental, real estate market is entirely bloated and distorted.
