  • Hello from Italy...

... although I'm currently living in Germany. I've recently started getting ever more interested into Armenian history and literature, but a lot of stuff is hard to find even in English. There's a lot of interesting books on sites like armenianhouse.org, unfortunately I don't know neither Russian nor Armenian, and Google translator sucks (not to mention that it never translates the whole page) Can anyone recommend me a good translating software?

In 1916, Maxim Gorki wrote that Shirvanzade's works "were known and read not only in the Caucasus but also in England, in the Scandinavian Peninsula, and Italy."
What a shame that all this has been forgotten!

Edit: don't mind the angry icon, it's only a typo *oops*

Why do you think I moved to Germany, lol :P
Nah seriously, I'll never understand why people voted for that old fat plastified pimp... unless they all wear magnifying glasses that make him taller, bigger and with more hair (I don't)
I suppose that Mr. Baliozian could find some witty remarks about him in his notebooks. Some things I've read in his thread suit my country quite well.

The general view of Italians seems to be that they are all 'dirty politicians' and are incompetent but Berlusconi is the least worst.

Only because he's no "career" politician. And because he has a real talent for appealing to the average Mario.

We have a centuries old saying, "Franza o Spagna, basta che se magna" (France or Spain, as long as we can eat). I guess that explains a lot.
