I do not care what Deviance is arguing, I was making a point based on the issue of moral or immoral, right or wrong, correct or incorrect. This is the nth time you seem to be avoiding it and now blaming me as bringing up the non-issue.

    • The concept of morality can be many ways but the action being taken to moralize the demoralized is a different toll.

Not to ignore the other side of the issue, i.e. considering it a genetic FLAW and thus trying to find a cure for it. Regardless, most gay people think it's a good idea if it's proven to be genetic. I certainly don't care.
No. I am basing my argument on actual feedback from homosexuals. Some do some don't. Read more carefully. You do care otherwise you would not comment on it.

Does anyone in here understand the concept of an analogy? You said that because homosexuality is a genetic flaw (I'm guessing because it prevents them from breeding) it is morally wrong. That obviously means that all genetic flaws are morally wrong, which is an absurdity. Do you believe a man to be morally flawed because he suffers from sickle-cell anemia?

Pay attention Mousy, because this right here is relativism. He just defined morally right as that which falls into accordance with an accepted norm. I doubt any such thing even exists. Certainly there is no one set of genetic traits that can exclusively be called the "norm." Are we now to consider albinos morally bad people?
Your analogy is way off. We do understand it it is just not valid or comparable in this case. Look Adam, not to sound too redundant but "keep your day job." I mean if you cannot see what I was implying with my two cents of the share then refrain from critiquing what I said.

          • We as a whole should not let erroneous "genetic flaws" roam about without getting it possibly "fixed."

            • This sounds apocryphal as it is unlikely that you can base your argument and assertions on that.

A guy named Dean Hamer interviewed 110 families with gay male members and noticed that it seems to run in the family line. He also noticed that it was usually the mother’s brother who was also gay and not the father. This suggested that the “gay gene” was on the X chromosome. He and his colleagues found a region in the Xq28 (the tip of the long arm of the chromosome). Apparently, gay men share the same version of the genetic marker 25% of the time and straight men shared a different version of it 75% of the time.
Just because it runs in the family doesn't mean it's genetic.. I mean, it could just as well be the upbringing. There is no gay person in my entire family line. You need very good/significant numbers in order to prove that it's genetic.

                    It's just ONE possibility.

His study ruled out coincidence with 99% confidence.
