And who can call themselves African American? I am African American (so is 'Dave' of Dave Mathews, but far more recently from South Africa). For all most know, my skin color is dark. Y'all in the Western Hemisphere are what I am, too. Everyone who isn't in the 'America's' can claim something else. I believe in THE HUMAN RACE.
Anonymouse, being Armenian is being one with a CULTURE, a language and a history, not a 'race,' though. (and we'll debate that later, I guess.)
The day that a non-Armenian will want to represent our country for a major sports' event, I will hold my head up high and say: "We succeeded. Finally!"

I call myself Armenian (um...not FULLY, of course...) It is something that I am and the only race of mine which I am proud, it's the only cool one I got going for me.
Hip hop was created for the lower class, for the blue collars. Not ONLY blacks, but anyone who could relate....and who's fault is it that more black people happen to live in poverty. Quality of education, the justice department, etc all play a role, but thats a whole another debate. So essentially, you can't knock on hip hop for representing the poor, its a voice for the unheard, ie: Public Enemy.
Hopefully someday you will develope good taste in music
Also would you consider calling yourself - Dzandr G
