Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

why gay marriage is wrong

What you stated is one of the reasons why homosexuality has not omitted itself IF (BIG IF) you believe that homosexuality is only genetic. When my girlfriend and I were talking about it that was my whole point ... that the fact that homosexuality is still prevalent and perhaps even getting much larger shows that it is not inherently genetic and perhaps more environmental ... anyway that was my fleeting thought ... probably a combo of many variables imo including genetics, environment, hormones yada yada ...
Anyone see the SVU episode last night? They are so sensational it's ridiculous. The only part I agreed with in regards to being critical of the homosexual community was the idea that homosexual couples with children often use those children as pawns in their own political statement for homosexual rights. Really sad imo as the kids don't even have an idea about what the hell is going on yet they become, without consent, the foot soldiers for their parents’ political statements. Who cares how it affects the child as long as our statement is made. It's selfish and inconsiderate to say the least.

My girlfriend and I were talking about that and if natural selection is indeed a true mechanism for evolution then over time the "homosexual gene" would eventually dissipate. Then she pointed out to me that many homosexuals have children (doh!).

Originally posted by AnonymouseThere was a study published not too long ago, ironically by a sociologist I believe, who wanted to prove that somehow gay couples raising children did not produce homosexual children. Of course, the fun part was that the results instead proved the opposite point.

Originally posted by Lamb BoyThey covered that in the SVU episode stating that those statistics were not true but I imagine it very well could be as children learn from example. Right?Achkerov kute.

Originally posted by AnonymouseStatistics, no matter what, can be manipulated, so it is possible to have statistics both for and against the argument, so statistics doesn't prove much, since statistics was originally designed by the State in favor of regimenting, disciplining and quantifying its populations. However, it is true that children learn by example.
I personally have no problem with homosexuals or if their childrern turn out to be homosexual. I also think ppl who are incapable of saying anything critical about any minority groups are FOS. No one person or group of ppl are above criticism imo ...

I'll tell you what. The gym I go to is in the heart of Hollywood, and it happens to cater to a large homosexual base. However, the homosexuals here we are talking about are not of the more cordial type. These are the sick, perverted, flaunting-in-your-face-their-homosexuality type. It is mostly comprised of the low class Mexican population. And some of the looks they throw at you in the locker room is truly disgusting. One time my brother and I were going to get into a fight because one of them not only threw nasty looks, but actually said some comment. You don't have to be a homophobe to feel uncomfortable when some homos are staring at you in a not so innocent way.
If by 'accepting' homosexuality has now allowed these low class perverts to feel more comfortable with trying to flaunt their nasty habits toward those of us who said "Ok phuck it, let them be gay", then you may as well go back to when homosexuals weren't as lax about coming out and shoving their eyes all over you in the locker room. Give them an inch and they take miles.Last edited by Anonymouse; 12-07-2005, 03:38 PM.Achkerov kute.

Originally posted by AnonymouseI have no problem if people want to be J ewish or recite the torah, or what they do in the privacy of their own home. However, my beef with judaism comes from the fact that they constantly whine and demand "rights" and parade around displaying and promoting themselves. This notion that judaisim has spawned to be some sort of identity in itself is silly. Like any identity politics it is nothing more than more political nonsense, feeding the ever increasing state.
