because I Feel more comfortable around them.
because it's not only the language. it's the values, the food, the mentality, the way they speak Armenian
it's just different.
and it has a lot to do with the fact that I wasn't raised in LA.

My parents always said that they would prefer I marry an Armenian, but recognized that if I do marry an odar, that would be okay. We're talking about one odar that must speak Armenian and learn to be accustomed to the culture. While indeed it is possible, it is nevertheless easy to "Armenianize" someone, the way they speak, their mentality. Jahannam does make a point....However, being the idealistic pan-armenian man I am, If I could picture myself being married, I could picture myself being married to a Hayastantsi, or Barskahye or Hntgahye, or Bolsahye (IF SHE DOESN'T SPEAK TURKISH THE WHOLE FREAKIN TIME).
