Originally posted by chille I have a lot of guy friends, who I have never been attracted to and I have never thought of having an affair with. So I think it is quite possible to have a friend of an opposite sex. But at he same time my boyfriend and I used to be really cool friends, we would chill together without even thinking about getting together and then just one night changed everything.
PS. We didnt have sex, we just danced and it changed it all.
Well, aren't you glad you had experienced that for giving you something to post about?

yeah I know. we all do favors to our "brothers"
did you NOT READ all the posts in this thread???
they're all stories about how close girl/guy "friendships" have NEVER worked out.
but you could deny all you want.
with that avatar, I don't think anyone takes you seriously.
oh wait except for DAN, of course, since he's your BROTHERLY friend.
Originally posted by felizitation My best "girl" friend (should notice the space char) is ugly. And I feel absolutely no attraction for her.
On the other side, when I presented real girlfriends to her (because she's my friend, ok ?), she was always showing some kind of jealeousy.
Now she has her life with her boyfriend, and we rather don't see eachother anymore.
I forgot to answer: as soon as there is some attraction, "real" friendship is rather impossible. But friendship (girl/boy) is always colored by feelings that obviously should not appear into, even with "male" (don't know how to express it) friends: jealousy, competition, covetousness... of different degrees.

yeah I actually like having guy friends cuz there is less drama going on.....but then again, ecentually the guy starts wanting more from a girl, not just an innocent guy/girl friendship...so I think its tough!
