    they're all stories about how close girl/guy "friendships" have NEVER worked out.

    Most of my friends that are guys are my borthers friends and they are like brothers to me, so ya it does work out

    I forgot to answer: as soon as there is some attraction, "real" friendship is rather impossible. But friendship (girl/boy) is always colored by feelings that obviously should not appear into, even with "male" (don't know how to express it) friends: jealousy, competition, covetousness... of different degrees.

    On the other side, when I presented real girlfriends to her (because she's my friend, ok ?), she was always showing some kind of jealeousy.
    Now she has her life with her boyfriend, and we rather don't see eachother anymore.

    yeah I actually like having guy friends cuz there is less drama going on.....but then again, ecentually the guy starts wanting more from a girl, not just an innocent guy/girl friendship...so I think its tough!
