It all boils down to what we want and the choices we make.
Precisely, however if the 2 individuals have the same aspirations, on the average chances are that the duration of time will advance one further than the other. Maturity is not the knowledge that you acquire but the amount of experiences complimented by knowledge achieved in duration of time.
Experiences can be gained from books, not merely living out time. As Socrates would agree, whole experiences of entire lifetimes of people and their knowledge are compacted into the tender pages of books.

My idea of a "perfect guy" is a guy that is sweet, great personality, has to be able to make me laugh (whenever) and has to be cute!
No guy in this whole world is like that...There is no such thing and if you think there is such thing...SHOW ME or better yet POST ME!!
Perfection is insipid ..dumb ass ...
I'm a monstrous mass of vile, foul & corrupted matter.

Then you will be quite experienced at reading books.
Originally posted by Anonymouse Age has nothing to do with maturity, that's just an excuse immature people flaunt in other peoples' faces to give them a reason to be immature.
Mr. Dance is evidence for my case.
I don't think I would agree with u on that.....if a an eight year old is too mature for his/her age that just means that he's not normal, and the rest of the 8year olds who act their age are the ones who are normal, and the same goes with all the ages, and as I said there are exceptions of course all the time......but usually maturity depends a lot on age!

That was awesome, but I'd have to agree. Anon, maturity beyond a certain age and immaturity for a certain age are exceptions, but quite common these days. Only reading books doesn't make one mature, life and the duration of time with a number of experiences is what forms into maturity.
