Originally posted by Crimson GlowYeah, and this type of reasoning "makes my nerves go upside down". HELLOOOOOOOOO. The reason we have different nations and languages is because MAN MADE IT THAT WAY, NOT NATURE!!! Nature made nationanilities? Could you possible make a more ignorant comment??? Man made up nationalities for the sake of labeling and filing people into categories, you brainwashed non-sensicle nationalists!!!! I have to say it again, if you're that ethnocentric, then you belong in Armenian. Not France, not Brazil, not Australia, and ESPECIALLY not America, but Armenia. I ask again, how do you intend on securing your "way of life" in someone else's country, a nation where your people haven't even been heard of? Those that came over here have already made the choice to loose a lot of their "Armenianess" by moving somewhere else to survive, and now they're trying to eliviate that guilt by saying "ohhh, well....ummmm.....well the burden is on you now. You have to marry an Armenian! Yeah, that's it! That'll fix my selfish mistake!" Nice try, but you already sold out the day you decided to move here. See, no where outside of south Cali would you have a place to speak Armenian outside of you immediate family, even if you DID marry an Armenian. Two Americanized people with IAN/YAN at the end of their last name isn't going to save your heritage. The truth hurts, don't it?

OK, Since we established that it's wrong for Armenians, such as myself, do date non-armenian girls, as I have been doing so far in my life... let us rectify this problem!

If you can't even attempt to use some half way valid arguements to defend your stance, at least don't say anything instead of further destroy its credibility for others defending it, and then getting mad when someone calls you on it. And for crying out loud, would you immigrant Armos find a word better than esh to insult with? That's about as meaningfull as calling someone a doofus.

Just making a statement based on observation. I have yet to see an American born Armenian use esh in a serious mannar/situation when truely trying to insult someone. And I've also noticed it's usually Beruitsi Armos that use the word most frequently. However, it's interesting that you looked right over her blatant insult, yet questioned my obscure phrase. What is that, Baron? What???

That's just a debate that's not going anywhere, and in which I don't really feel like getting involved.
There are blatant insults in every single conversation here. It's just that expressions of armenians looking down on other armenians, and calling each other fobs or whatnot is a pet peeve of mine.
