I want everything in a girl. Why should I pick and choose between qualities? That is meaningless.

Well, it should be obvious that things like "efficiency", and "reliability" come at the price of "performance" and "luxury", while handling and speed come at the price of comfort or potential abilities to venture offroad. And it goes without saying that fitting in small parking spaces is inevitably against the notion of being able to carry large loads.
The leap from the above example to human qualities is left to the reader. But picking and judiciously compromising between desirable qualities that you can actually find in a single entity is never meaningless.

These are semantical games you are playing. And you are over intellectuallizing and losing sight of the point. You think it's a category and I think it's a quality... whatever. The point is that I would want a girl with a sense of humor, with good looks, intelligence, and personality. If you want to argue against the premise of the entire thread don't pick a fight with me, specifically.

Ok I'll tone down the "intellectuallizing" ...
If you want a girl with everything, I hope you realize you sound like those women who want everything in a man. They want a guy that'll always be there, have a great career (which means he can't always be there), will have a strong personality and stand up for himself, will be sensitive to her needs, etc etc etc
I'm not picking a fight ... just pointing out that saying things like "I want everything" is downright childish. Not because such a thing is rare or doesn't exist ... but because it can't exist.this post = teh win.

There is nothing childish here. You are taking things out of context and distorting them. You are jumping on me for using the word "everything" but are ignoring what I meant by it. This isn't arguing; it's autoeroticism. Comparing general character traits with very specific, non-character related desires is childish.
The point is that I would want a girl with a sense of humor, with good looks, intelligence, and personality.

So now that you stated what's important to you, we are back on topic which is apparently not that meaningless after all (unlike what you claimed at first).this post = teh win.

I was always on topic; you went of on the tangent. My post was dependant on context. There was no 180. You are acting as though by saying everything I want someone with and without a sense of humor simultaneously or someone who is dumb and intelligent simultaneously. That's stupid and any normal thinking human being would understand what I had meant. Picking and chosing? You seem to forget the point of this thread is that one can find different character traits admirable but one may feel certain traits are of more value than others. Essentially, you were feeling down on yourself today so you started a pointless argument that makes no sense so you can use big grinning smilies and make yourself feel better.

If a person has a great personality, then the sense of humor and kindness comes with that great personality....I think a sense of humor is the most important. I remember dating this guy who was soo sweet, but couldn't keep up with my joking around. OMG it was soo boring. He was even a boring kisser, which made me sick...
GOD I HATE KISSING!
