  • Good excuse?

Is being in school fulltime and working 45hrs on average an acceptable reason to forget a birthday or an anniversary, to be snappy, and to be negletful?

Matters who its for, if its your bf no, if its an ex yes. If it's someone your talking to only, ya its ok.

That is a very heavy load. I think it is a good excuse. As long as the person is sorry and wants to make it up there is nothing to worry about. ~Svetlana~

well these sure are possibilities... but not necessarly a "good excuse" for just plain out being an ass to people.. (snappy)

If you're really working 45hr a week and going to school full time I'd give you a medal. And it's ok if you forget where you put it.

I think you're fishing for a good excuse. You should just be honest and tell whoever's birthday you forgot that you really dont care for them much. I would.

I'm guessing the person is very sensitive about their birthday if they are a bit unhappy. Are they? You do have a pretty good excuse, but apologise anyways just to make them feel better. Afterall, it is their birthday.

Ooooooh, send them an e-card. hehehe. jk.

wel people look at it this way...
it is your birthday coming up, and you have a friend who is like your borther/sister.. and your birthday comes and passes.. he/she does not say "happy birthday" ... or if he/she is your gf/bf.. or worst yet actually.. its a friend whome you have a crush on (more sensative times).. tell me that it wont bother you at ALL if they forgot yoru birthday? i mean. i wouldnt get worked up about it.. but it would bother me a litle bit i presume..
