I actually just went out with her tonight, I just got home. Unfortunently, we went out as just friends.

We both had nothing to do tonight, so she wanted to go out. We went to the movies. Lake House. Not a good movie to watch when you're in the position I am. All that time, I was sitting there, thinking to myself, "My God. You just think of me as a friend. Nothing more. And I'm here, killing myself to have another chance. And this stupid love movie isn't helping!" It was a great movie, though.

After that, we went to get some food. We had a good time. For once, I was totally myself, and didn't hold back. Usually, with girls I'm interested in, I try to act perfect, in a way, but tonight, I was just me. She was making fun of me, as a joke, and so was I. She wants to hang out tomorrow and Sunday, too. But we'll see about that.

I don't like just being friends! I'm not used to it. I'm not used to being with a girl I like, and not looking at her the way I want, holding her the way I want. Stupid life.

you're going to end up doing what eminem did, by shooting her and then singing about it.

Would anyone agree with me if I said great relationships start with two people first being friends? I have heard that once a girl sees a guy as a friend, she will never see him as anything more...which I think is false but hey it might be true...

I agree totally with the first question and not at all with the second one.

I am completely in love with my friend, and will continue to be if we only remain friends, or become more than 'just friends.' We work together lots (and we even lived together before, without anything sexual--though sexual tension might have been there). It is hard for me to not say that to him. My problem is the opposite. I don't want to make our friendship dynamic weird. I am turning down other dates...

Even couples who start as friends, become more, break up, remain lifetime friends (from my experience, anyway.) So, this idea of a woman seeing a guy as a friend, and nothing more, isn't always true, for sure. I do have guy friends that I do not see as potential partners, though, for sure (thus 'always').
