Yeah, I had my heart set on someone else when I first started seeing my ex-gf... Dunno what would've happened if I chose to go for her, cuz she (that girl) seemed to like me back and it would hurt her to see me with my ex (at the time)...

Tricky business I guess... All that ended up happening was my loss of the ability to feel for either of them. All I really had with my ex was a physical intimacy and a friendship, no real romance (but I was still heartbroken in the end for some reason).

Yeah, I know, I'm going off on a tangent, it's just a date for you, lol. Thing is, I got my ex-gf because she was so much more accessible to me than the other girl, perhaps this situation is similar for you?

Well, the girl I was talking to, ended up having sex with another guy. That ruined things. Then, when everything was okay, and we were trying to make it work, she told me things were going too fast, so we should slow down. Then, she told me she was really stressed and had a lot of problems to deal with, and that she didn't have time to focus on me, so she said we should stop talking, because it's not fair to me. Bull-fucking-shit.

Now, I'm in a really sad mood, because of all this shit that happens with me and girls.

Can't you sort of tell when you find a girl who doesn't give a damn about you? It's tough, but from everything I'm hearing, that's the problem, they take you completely for granted.

The date I had was a last minute thing. He called and I was bored. I agreed to go out for a little while. He's nice enough, I guess. (But his first suggestion for a date was weird.) We ended up going to a cool bar for beer and he brought me home. (Though I still had him drop me off a distance from my real doorway because I'm a little weirded out by his style and I tend to trust my 'gut' unless I have reason to know otherwise.)

One-way: Awwe, hun, you deserve better than that--if she made it clear she was thinking of you in boyfriend kind of terms. On the other hand, how do you know she had sex with someone? Did she tell you? If so, why? That's what I'd wonder. To send you a signal that she doesn't think of you in that way? Maybe she's just talking with you like she would with any close friend? Or maybe she told you to see if you'd get jealous? Who knows.
