I have a date tomorrow. I thought this thread would be appropriate. From now on, this thread will be my relationship log. I'll post information about my relationship life.

Here's the first entry. Tomorrow, I'm going out with some girl. It'll either go great or horrible. There's no middle point to it. I'll be back.

That's a great idea. (But, don't be so great/horrible thinking... dates are mostly never that... unless you meet the person of your dreams in a coffee shop, and... yeah, you're right, dream on... doesn't happen)

I suppose that is true. If one of two don't feel the same... but, I miss this person. I've missed him since we stopped talking. I know we were meant to be together, Sip. I suppose what is is what is... it just hurts to be here knowing that while he ??? who knows. Sip, I'm guessing that you think I am doing wishful thinking? Right?

Well, it is obviously clear that you deeply miss him. There's nothing wrong, or strange, or abnormal about that. It's the part about you trying to associate some higher meaning to what you are feeling with the phrase "meant to be" that I don't agree with. But a lot of people think and talk that way so I certainly understand where you are coming from. All I can say is repeat: You must move on.

You are right, 'meant to be' isn't what I even think. That's just a cliche. I don't know how to say how I feel. I even think what I feel is odd, given the time we actually spent together. Move on? Meaning?
