Nah Sigggie i know some biologists who are in the inteligent design camp and they and all like them are morons indeed because they ignore solid proof and propogate unfounded and unsubstantiated claims. If one ceases thinking critically then one should walk out to the garden and call oneself a vegitable.

Besides, I don't think that's it; I think it's largely ignorance (they're educated in other fields and have avoided science) and confirmation bias.
