Don't know why I expected anything else...

By that "logic" Jesus was at fault for the Crusades and the Inquisition because he laid the ground work which led to these sorts of religious endeavors. The Wright brothers are at fault for 9/11, Newton for weapons like bullets, cannon, missiles, etc., Pasteur for biological warfare, and so on...

Science is about acquiring knowledge. How that knowledge gets used by others is an entirely separate issue.

Your "logic" fails you since the motives behind Sir Francis Galton's and Charles Darwin's work was directed towards putting humanity on the same scale as animals.

That statement makes is evident that you don't even understand evolution. If you'd like to tell me otherwise, I invite you to describe the basics of the theory. And don't paste me some some blog post like you usually do... I'm asking you.

That was not their motive. Darwin's motive was to understand how there were so many varied species all so seemingly well adapted to their environments.

No, the problem with these British "intellectuals" is all the same. They think they are superior minded people who believe that some humans are less human than others and don't deserve to be treated in the same manner and their justification in doing so is "scientific study".

Science is neutral. It seeks knowledge. It doesn't take sides. It is not racist.

What does Eugenics have to do with Evolution????

LOL, I can't believe you're defending Eugenics. Doesn't surprise me.

Only you would think I'm defending eugenics.

No, really. Eugenics has nothing to do with evolution unless you think it does.

You are because according to you science is infallible and cannot be criticized.

I don't think Siggie has said that. That is the basic definition of religion and we both know what she thinks about religions
                    this post = teh win.
