its annoying to see people worked up with the zidane fiasco

he got a red card in the dieing minutes of his carrear, that had no effect on the game what so ever

so why are people talking about it ?

his a classy player and to me will always be rememberd of how well he destroyed the brazilians in the worldcup not cause of some red card

WOW...destroyed???? You guys are hilarious...you take this crap so seriously...that's the good thing about Brazilians...we get pissed off for a couple of days, but then we go back to our optimist way of living life and we look forward to the next cup!!!

(Btw, what good was for France to "destroy" Brazil if in the end they went home crying like little girls who got their lollipop stolen???)

Zidane's incident needs to be put in the context. He has given so much to football that one blunder (or three) won't even come close to overshadowing his genius. One thing to remember is that if not provoked Zidane is very cool and levelheaded. He was the best player in this cup and most fun to watch. He's probably the only player that we have come to expect to never lose the ball. The few times he does, we're all shocked. That's something. I personally have a bigger problems with how primitive and barbaric it was. If he had punched the guy and even broken his nose, I would have been much less shocked. But acting like a bull or a goat, comon man.

There is a difference between being passionate and being an ass about a sports discussion in which you have not initially given the other side a simple nod of 'hey its a game we are entitlted to our opinions'. It's your last warning.

That's what I love about Brazillians! They are not just blind fanatics in whose eyes their team can do no wrong ... they actually can be the toughest critics of their own team!

I'll take that as a compliment...heheheh

I personally doubt Ronaldo will be back for another cup unless maybe as a last minute sub on the bench. But I wouldn't be surprised if Roberto Carlos comes back again ... man does that guy EVER get tired of running and smacking the ball like there's no tomorrow?

Ronaldo is still young (30) and I wouldn't doubt if he is still around for the next World Cup, but he needs to get his **** together and decide what is the priority in his life, soccer or models.

I always loved Roberto Carlos, so I hope he'll still have the stamina for next cup.

As for Adriano, the team could do better without him and that lazy a$$ Robinho...
