Even with its low effective range (btw, I have heard that it is more than 1000m) it makes a functional sniper rifle.
This is a exellent compact weapon for tight corners weighing under 4 kg firing at 800 Rounds a min.....not to mention the option of NATO compatible high velocity rounds.

In 1992 Armenia started R&D in military applications of the Laser technology. We had/have experienced scientific personnel and infrastructure in the area: since USSR.

Now the laser military kits nstalled in the pilotless aircrafts, in case of war, would enable Armenian army to target Azeri military warehouses (full of ammunition), air bases, oil/gas petrol pipes/reservoirs/warehouses etc., ensuring our advantage in short range war: given we didn’t “surrender”, by that time, the Artsakh security zone: ancient Armenian land.

By the way the laser technology future developments worldwide may result in arms that can be compared with nuke technology: this is the future for small states to try to gain advantage/superiority in terms of military power.

The lazer thing sounds interesting. As for the Vahan-it may already be in production. During battles with the azeris the Armenian side was using smaller caliber type ammo which effectively pierced armor. Sounds to me like if not Vahan then something like it is already in use in our army.
